1.  WHO WILL MY PHOTOGRAPHER BE?
Lindsey Penney herself!  All of the images you see on this blogsite belong to Lindsey. Feel free to browse all sorts of client images by clicking on the “portfolio” tab in the menu bar! This is a great way to get to know Lindsey’s style of photography to see if what she creates is something you crave for your photos!

2.  WHAT ARE YOUR PACKAGES?
Please use the “investment” tab to read about our session packages.

3.  CAN I GET MY DIGITAL NEGATIVES?
Digital negatives can only be purchased outside of your package print credit.  We offer high and low-resolution options, giving you a bigger discount when you purchase all the images form your session! Please call the studio for more details on our digital negatives policy.

4.  WHEN DO I PAY?
PORTRAITS
:
- Standard and Mini Sessions: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your date, or you can pay in full at the time of booking.  Your package balance is due on the day of your session.
- 3 and 5-Session Packages: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your package, or you can pay in full at the time of booking.  Before each session, a payment of $100 or more is required until your package balance is paid in full.

EVERYONE: All product orders require at least 50% of the total before we will submit your order to the printing lab.  100% of the total is due before any product can be taken home.

5.  ARE YOU GUYS FAMOUS?
Yes.  Really, really famous.

6.  DO I NEED A CONSULTATION?
Yep!  We like to think that you came to Gingeroot Studios to capture moments from a precious time in your life…and we don’t take that lightly!  During your consultation we will get to the heart of what you really want out of your session, make a plan for a successful shoot, and help you understand our process.  Without a consultation, we all go into the shoot blind!  So, look forward to your consultation.  Bring ideas and bring questions…we have the answers.

7.  WHEN CAN I SEE MY PICTURES?
Your proofs will be ready one week after the date of your session by the end of the day.  You can view them online by coming to this blog and clicking on the “proofs” tab.  Please remember that you cannot redeem your credit online.  You must schedule a showing appointment with your photographer to redeem your credit.

8.  WHY IS MY ONLINE GALLERY GONE?
It expired!  Your proofs are only available online for 30 days.  After that, they are deleted from our server to make room for our other clients.  There is a $20/week fee to re-post your gallery online.

9.  WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Here are the reasons we would reschedule your session due to weather:

  • Temperature is below 40 degrees
  • Temperature is above 90 degrees
  • Winds are above 15 mph
  • If it is actively raining at time of session
  • If it has recently rained enough to make the ground muddy/messy

10.  WHEN CAN I SCHEDULE A SESSION?
My current schedule allows for client consultations, photo sessions, and viewing sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only. The time of day for your photo session will depend on the season, the weather and the sun! Our Studio Manager, Amy, is more than happy to guide you through your booking process!
