2. WHERE SHOULD WE TAKE OUR PICTURES?
Once your kiddo turns one year old they are on the move! A moving kid is a very special subject to photograph. Forcing a mobile and adventurous kid to sit still and pose in a studio setting will usually result in a nightmare meltdown. They get bored and angry and that doesn’t make for good pictures. Our suggestion…go outside! This is a stage all its own and is best photographed in a more photo-journalistic style…on the fly, candid, action shots. We can usually sneak some “posed” moments in, but if you are realistic with your expectations, your candid memories will turn out great.
3. WHAT SHOULD MY KIDS WEAR?
Kids can get away with craziness. Bring on the tutus, stripes, dots and color! Does your kid like to dress like a princess? Let her! Don’t think those rain boots quite go with your son’s suit…think again! These silly quirks are what make your images special. Limit your outfit changes, though. Any more than 2 outfits and your little tyke is going to get frustrated.
4. HOW LONG IS MY KID SESSION?
The Standard Session gets you up to 2 hours of shooting time. Kids this age aren’t going to last that long. We will work fast and have fun, but you can expect about an hour. If your kid is having the time of their life and wants to keep going…we certainly will! Remember, they are the boss on picture day and if we try to force them to behave it is going to blow up in our faces and we will end up wasting your whole 2 hours.
5. WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
